On the high end, consume 2 grams of protein per kg of body weight. This is best for those who workout or are seeking to gain a bunch of mass. On the low end, keeping 1 gram of protein per kg of body weight will help prevent muscle loss and keep your cells with the proper nutrients to repair and regenerate. This is best for those simply seeking to eat healthier, without the benefits of exercise. I use a mixture of cooking styles and techniques; Asian culture is a favorite. But of course I am still experimenting with the kitchen. Along with 5-6 small meals a day, 3 cups of green tea (or any herbal hot tea), is advisable. Tea offers many antioxidants and flavonoids to your diet. When begginning to eat healthy, simply start including a few healthy items/dishes into your diet. Gradually, your gut bacteria will shift and you will start to crave the delicious diversity of plants! Sugar will kill your gut system, so it is best to cut out as much sugar as you can.
